The 2005 National Midget Basketball Championships were comprised of sixteen teams, eight mens' teams and eight womens' teams. The participating provinces were British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia.
